Perfect!

"Dmitry Gotkis Photography exceeded our expectations - we could not be happier with the results! I was so happy to see that our entire day was captured perfectly and we are able to re-live the entire day by looking at the pictures. The professionalism can not be beat! I can't wait to come back again and again for future shoots. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts!

Awesome!

"I could not have asked for a better person to do my wedding pictures. He is very friendly and interacted well with everyone at my wedding, I even had a lot of my guests commented on how nice and professional he was. I love all of the photos that were taken and have had so many complements on them. He is such an awesome photographer."

The How's and Why's...

Virginia Beach wedding and portrait photographer, serving Hampton Roads, Richmond and available for travel worldwide,

I found my passion for photography long before it became my business. Actually, even before I knew what a word “business” meant. I was given my first camera at about 10 years old by my Grandpa, who I was helping developing pictures in the dark room since forever. Starting from that moment I couldn’t wait to finish a roll of film to see what treasures it would reveal.

… that was a long time ago, and the digital revolution has occurred, but I believe that THAT moment was the starting point of my love for photography in general and the beginning of my career as a professional photographer. To this day, I still can’t wait to see what treasures I download from my camera.
I shot my first wedding in 2007 for a friend of family. Emotions of the event overwhelmed me… I spent lots of evenings visiting local flower shops, bakers, bridal shops (you name it) and driving through the town, trying to leave my newly printed business cards with store employees, but till this day the best advertisement I receive is by word of mouth from my clients.

My style evolves with each new wedding, with each portrait session. I shoot more than collection of images. My goal is to tell the story – story of your beautiful day – memories, that you’ll re-live over and over while flipping pages of your wedding album, or by watching slideshow on your big screen.
